Charles Wood & Sons

Billy and Ian did an amazing job moving our family from Witney all the way to Keswick in the Lake District. It wasn’t an easy unpacking, on a main road and with lots of steps but they were super professional and worked tirelessly on just a few cups of tea. Outstanding job, lovely team. I hope they enjoyed their night in Ambleside after

Removal Team were very good, they worked fast despite it being very hot and the move took place over the 3 days as planned. Would definitely recommend the packing service which made our life much simpler.

The guys at Charles Wood made a very stressful time much easier. Can't thank them enough. Highly recommend this professional and productive team. I would definitely use them again though not planning on moving again anytime soon!

Do not use this company. Packed our family's belongings terribly with no care or thought. So many precious items damaged and after speaking with the managing director, he just laughed at the comments made by some of the men towards me. Didn't care for the house we sold or the one we bought, wearing shoes on the carpets when it was raining outside. It took me three times of asking for carpet runners to be put down, the men just don't care. These are not even the cheapest on the market and I wouldn't want anyone else to experience their terrible service.

This was a small job, moving about a dozen heavy items that we could not move ourselves from Henley to Oxford. The enquiry/booking process went very well, with very prompt response and excellent short-term availability. The price seemed very reasonable. The crew were most amenable, competent, efficient, careful and friendly. The whole job of load, transport and unload was completed in a little under 3 hours. We are very satisfied and would recommend this company without hesitation.
