Steve, Henry and Melvin at Jacobs & Sons did a fantastic job helping us move into our new property. All team members were incredibly professional, friendly and careful with our belongings. We would highly recommend them and the service they provided to our friends and family. They arrived fully prepared with all the required equipment to do the job and the transport they provided looked immaculate. Thanks you did a great job!

I had never used a company to pack & move me before, but now I can see and feel the difference. We had been in the house for nearly 18 years & the move was a huge upheaval, even though we weren't moving far. What stands out is the attention to detail and the calmness that Melvin, Phil, Ellis and Torrin brought to the move, which on the day was extremely stressful (due to a very late completion). The team instinctively understood the emotions of the day and were reassuring throughout, so we never felt like we were inconveniencing them. Practically, we had a lot of sentimental and delicate stuff. Not one thing was broken or damaged. Everything was beautifully wrapped and protected. What stands out for me is that the team were a reassuring & extremely efficient presence throughout, so I actually felt sad when they left. Something I wasn't expecting at all! Personalised care is becoming increasingly rare these days, so I am doubly grateful to the team for accompanying us through such a big life transition. I can't recommend them enough.

A.G. Jacob & Sons moved me and my young family from the UK to France in November-December 2021, with a period of storage in between. In the wake of Brexit and still in the midst of the Covid crisis - this was not an easy task, but Steve and his team carried it out perfectly, in a friendly and caring manner. They were punctual and flexible, and communication with Steve over e-mail was very efficient, with fast and honest responses. When unloading in France, despite being tired after spending many hours at the border, Steve and Phil were happy to stay extra time to repair a bed that got broken during a previous move done by another company. Could not recommend highly enough.

Steve and Henry were brilliant. We had a slightly chaotic move having two kids around! They worked solidly in the Oxford sunshine for three hours without a brew because we had thrown the kettle away! They dismantled our furniture and packed it whilst we focused on the boxes. They arrived promptly the next day with all our furniture. I’m really glad I chose this local business and I would recommend them to anyone in a second!

Our first removal experience and we couldn't have wished for anything better. The team were all extremely friendly and turned up in very nicely polished trucks. It all added to a great professional service. Everything was so well packaged and little bits of attention to detail went a long way. In particular, our babies red health book was labelled and they told us exactly where they were putting it in case we needed it urgently. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
