From coming out to quote to finishing the job I cannot recommend Allsworth roofing highly enough. They arrived when they said they would and completed the job in good time. They left everything clean and tidy at the end of every day. The whole job ran like clock work. Will definitely use this firm again.

I’ve used Allsworth Roofing twice now and they’ve done a brilliant job for me on my Victorian property in Oxford. The first was the complete renovation of a bay window roof after new windows were installed. This included new timber battens and felt, new insulation, re-slating using the old tiles and installing new lead hips and flashings. It now looks as good as new and very authentic! The second was the replacement of the old cement fillets around the chimney base with a new lead apron and flashing plus re-flaunching the chimney top. Again, now looks like new again! And all very competitively priced. I have no hesitation in recommending them!

Terrible work and attitude. The work was carried out through a managing agent and I was not notified that Allsworth would be attending so not at home when they attended . It seems to me this gave them free rein to do whatever they wanted without due care and attention . Scaffolders turned up ,blocked access to my tenants main/ fire door and Allsworths would then not move their scaffolding despite me explaining the situation , meaning I was advised to move her out of the property to fulfill my landlord obligations . She had to move out for a week at short notice and I am out of pocket as I paid her a good will gesture . Didn't replace a missing tile , left debris all over the site meaning I have had to pay third parties to clean up. When they finally replaced the missing tile, they didn't remove the existing cement , so it doesn't sit flush and the colour doesn't match the rest of the roof. Am particularly upset since they were made aware of these problems and just ignored them. ***edited following contractors response - the tenant flagged up she could not easily reach the door to get in our out of the property and I don't believe having to step over several areas of scaffolding up to thigh level to exit the property would be seen as acceptable in a health and safety/ fire risk assessment that landlords have to undertake. 2 windowsills were lightly brushed off and 2 left filthy, hence the need to instruct a third party to clean up , roof moss left all over the garden and walkways . My tenant commented immediately after the scaffolders accessed the garden that a bush was now in a different position and when I inspected it the trellis was broken. I also noted Cotswold stone damage around a window and a cracked slab with multiple craze lines as though from heavy impact . The flat is subject to regular photo inspections and one had very recently taken place which show the changes in condition. The flat also has a video doorbell which would show if anybody else had accessed the property garden - which they hadn’t . There is therefore a very high likelihood that the scaffolders or roofing company created this damage especially as these had been in a stable condition over the 7 years I've owned the property. Allsworth did offer to repair the cracked slab however I spoke to several local firms who said this would not really be an adequate solution. .Their MD has contacted me since I wrote the review and said they did offer to replace the slab too and at the time I spoke to reputable local businesses who said they could not provide a replacement with an aesthetic result which would look good . A roofer friend has assessed photos of the work and said the missing tile placed after complaint was done lazily and without attention. It was he who told me old cement had not been removed and this is why it was sitting differently . He also agreed there had been no attempt to colour match the tile. It feels as though the roofers did this work poorly deliberately as I had had to call them out on the other aspects, as I can not see why otherwise the tile match could be so wrong . Within 24 hours of this review , having had no positive reviews for several years , a glowing review was posted which brought their rating back up to their previous one. This review has been resubmitted 3 month later as it is genuine and somehow it got removed but the truth needs to be told .The company previously accused me of submitting a false review however a look at my other reviews will show a mixture of reviews showing all the hallmarks of being very fair .

We were recommended to Allsworthroofing by our neighbour for the excellent work quality and customer services they had received in the past. It didn’t disappoint to say the least, from making the first call to the finishing touch. The quote was provided in a timely manner after the survey and the work was scheduled in at their nearest availability. No chasing was necessary which is extremely rare in this day and age where the majority of tradesmen just don’t respond and the ones who do, would need constant chasing. Allsworth Roofing went above and beyond in delivering the best possible outcome based on our requirements. Mark attended the sites regularly to check upon the work quality and always replied to our messages professionally and promptly. They’ve also kind enough to help organise a side on project which went smoothly. (A massively thank you to Shaun the surveyor and Holly in the office! You guys are ace) If you are in Oxfordshire and requires roofing work done, look no further. We highly recommend this lovely and reliable local business.

I'm so pleased I decided to go with Allsworth roofing to replace a barn roof with Cardinal Slate. It was a job I had been worrying about, but Allan and his team were all lovely (even when scraping ice off the roof in freezing temperatures!) and the job was completed to a very high standard with no hidden costs. A special thank you to Gary who managed the project- a great guy who knows everything about roofing!
