I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Abbey Roofing during a recent job carried out under LQ. After completing the work, they left my property with dirt and rubbish directly in front of my house. When I called to complain, every customer service agent I spoke to was rude and had a bad attitude. One even accused me of shouting, which was completely untrue and very unprofessional. What made this worse is that Abbey Roofing lied to LQ, claiming they had returned to collect the rubbish. They even took photos from a different job as proof. I have my own photos clearly showing the rubbish left outside my property. I then spoke to their manager, Tim, who was extremely rude and condescending. Instead of apologising or resolving the issue, he spoke to me like I was a child and tried to intimidate me by saying they wouldn’t do work at my property anymore — as if that was a threat. If a job is assigned, it should be done properly, not used as leverage. The overall behaviour was unprofessional, lazy, and dishonest. This feels like a cowboy operation, and I would not trust Abbey Roofing with any work. Based on my experience, they are incompetent and do not take responsibility for their actions. I strongly advise others to think twice before using this company.

I've used Abbey Roofing twice now and have found their service to be organised and workmanship to be very good. I had a flat roof leak repaired and a chimney leak repaired, both requiring new leadwork. Very pleased with the results.

I only wish I could review their work. The website looks reasonably professional. But their response to enquiries is rubbish. I called twice and left messages - no response. I then emailed an enquiry and received an automated reply which promised a follow up. But no reply after 3 days. So I called again and managed to speak to someone and arranged for them to visit my house on a Friday. They didn't turn up and I have had no communication to apologise or explain. All roofers are busy after the weather we have had. But only a few actually manage to keep their word and turn up when they say they will. I for one wont use Abbey for any future work as they are just unreliable.

Great work on my old cottage’s tatty roof. Completed in a timely professional manner, with no mess left behind. Highly recommended.
