When the engineer came out, he seemed like he was rushing to get the issue diagnosed as quickly as possible (he did have another appointment to get to ASAP). We received a quote for work, which we’ve since got for half the price with another gas engineer. They weren’t able to give us a breakdown of the quote or confirm how long the work would take (replace a part in the boiler), explaining that it’s their standard practice to not provide quote breakdowns (which was very odd). When we said that we couldn’t afford their quote at this time, but could they confirm what the part was, after asking three times, they were unable to confirm what the specific part was, even after we’d paid the invoice for the call out/diagnostic report.

I have used E&W for my heating repair and was very pleased with the price, customer service and quality of the work. The engineer Chay was professional and knowledgeable and kept me in the loop with timeframes for completion. I will use them again in the future.
