Clarus Construction Ltd

After our original builder unexpectedly abandoned the construction of our home, we found ourselves in a very stressful situation. Thankfully, a friend recommended Matthew, and from the moment we met him we knew we were in safe hands. It’s hard to fully express how grateful we are. Matthew and his team are the definition of professionalism, always punctual, reliable, transparent, and delivering consistently high-quality workmanship. In an industry that can often have a mixed reputation, finding someone so trustworthy and committed is genuinely rare. Matt and the Clarus team have done an outstanding job helping us complete our forever home in Oxfordshire. The standard of work and attention to detail have exceeded our expectations, and the entire experience has been smooth and reassuring. We couldn’t be happier with the result and would recommend Clarus without hesitation to anyone considering renovations, extensions, or larger building projects. April & Jonny

Matt and the Clarus team have been excellent from start to finish. We were looking for a building company that was caring, honest and personable. Matt delivered on all of these. He is very generous with his time, easy to communicate with and genuinely cared about our bungalow renovation. As with all projects, we had problems to solve along the way- Matt was upfront with any issues and always had options to address them, often with better results than the original plan! We would highly recommend Clarus Construction. Thank you for making our dreams a reality. Nick and Alexandra

If you want to be 110% sure that your build or renovation will go smoothly, Clarus are definitely the company. Having just finished a 7 month project, my dream home has been created which has exceeded all the hopes and expectations that I had. This was made possible by Matt McGill and his amazing team whose genuine care, meticulous attention to detail, creative input and management skills throughout exceeded all expectations.

As architectural design consultant, working with Clarus Construction has been very successful. Their building work is at a very high level of workmanship as well as professional coordination of the subcontractors and materials. I only put forward a few builders to my clients and Matt and his team are always on my list of recommended building contractors.

I have worked with Matt and the team on a number of occasions, most recently finishing an extensive renovation on our home in Oxford. They hit the deadlines and kept me updated with the works via email/WhatsApp whenI was travelling. I was very happy with the quality of the finishes and workmanship - the team were careful to leave the place tidy. I would recommend Clarus and if I need to use them again, I will not hesitate to call in Matt and the team.
