Abingdon Bathrooms & Kitchens

We were very pleased that we went to Abingdon Bathrooms & Kitchens. Paul guided us through the whole process and kept us updated throughout. The individual craftsmen (fitter, electrician, plumber, plasterer) were excellent and very professional. When issues left from the old kitchen arose, they were able to take it in their stride. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

Calum the fitter, arrived and started straight away. He kept me informed on what was going on, and always cleaned up after each stage of the work. The new toilet and flooring was fitted to my complete satisfaction. The finished job was completed professionally and looks better than what I was expecting. This is the second job that this company did in my house (shower, sink unit and wc) some years ago, and that was also done to a high standard, so that is why I choose this company again for my latest repair. Would recommend them to anyone requiring replacement/new bathroom items, wc, or showers.

We are very pleased with our new bathroom. Abingdon Bathrooms and Kitchens managed to fit a much more modern bathroom into quite a tight space and we have no hesitation in recommending Abingdon Bathrooms and Kitchens to friends. It was good to be dealing with Dan and his colleagues who clearly knew their stuff about the bathrooms and fittings that they were providing and fitting.

Once again Abingdon BK have done a wonderful job to our bathroom, installing a new shower and shower enclosure. They also done a beautiful fully fitted kitchen, bathroom, and cloakroom in a previous house Thank you so much Steve for making this work and also for Andy and Anthony for the superb fitting job. Would thoroughly recommend the whole team and will be looking now for some work to our kitchen , absolute gem of a local business , please support!

This is the 5* review we just never got round to writing around 7 years ago when Abingdon Bathrooms and Kitchens did a really lovely job of fitting a shower, sink and WC into what was a challengingly small space in our guest bedroom. However, yesterday we had guests coming to stay overnight and we discovered last minute (lunch time!) that when flushing the loo, water flooded out from underneath onto the floor – in a bit of a panic and guessing that an inaccessible gasket had suddenly gone, we were thinking where could we find an emergency plumber at the last minute?, and where we might also find someone reliable at this short notice… Knowing that Abingdon Bathrooms and Kitchens were close and have always been approachable and helpful in the showroom, we went to see if they would be kind enough to recommend a plumber. When our predicament was explained, Steve checked where we lived, and to our great surprise, kindly offered to pop over and just take a look to see if the cause was obvious which would at least help us to know what the problem was. After looking at this with us, he was able to identify a small hole which had developed in the waste pipe though which the water leaked every time we flushed (clearly not a fault in the initial installation). Steve was able to recommend a fix we could do immediately ourselves and where we could get what was needed. So yes, we were able to fix this the same afternoon (phew), we did recommend our guests to use another toilet this time – but knew that they were not going to be flooded out if they accidently forgot! We are most grateful to Steve, and I think it says a lot that years after the original job was done, the company is still around, and still local, and still cares enough to go out of their way to help in a situation like this.
